What is Claw Patrol?

Claw Patrol is our feral-cat house project. Feral cats are community cats — they live outdoors and keep to themselves — and in exchange for a warm, dry shelter and a reliable meal, they patrol their territory and keep it free of rodents. It’s a trade cats and people have been making for thousands of years.

We built a three-apartment cat house for the Ferocious Four — four feral cats who watch over our backyard — and keep an eye on them through a handful of cameras. This is where we document the build, the cameras, and the cats.
